The Chairperson of the Commission of the African Union, Mr. Jean Ping, on Monday 13 October 2008, received in audience, Mr. Alain Le Roy, the UN Under- Secretary General for Peacekeeping Operations. The meeting provided an opportunity for the two to exchange views on South Sudan, Darfur and Somalia issues.
