i wish to disagree with the international observers that Zambia's election was fre and fair. I personally want to say that the just ended Zambia's presidential elections were not free and therfore not fair.
Zambian know that the electral commission of Zambia system is week and corrupt therefore its very easy for the government to to manipulate the system.
most Zambian know that there was a lot of fraud and malpractise during the elections and the ruling government knew that they would by playing dirty. The people of Zambia have no faith in the government and wanted change. The opposition party Patriotic Front won the election but the government somehow managed to steal his votes as they did in the 2006 general elections.
We head of ballot pre marked ballot papers that were found in wrong places wrong hands at wrong times and people could not protest because the Zambia Army Commander and Inspector General of Police who are all appointed by the president issued careless threats to whoever would protest which leaves much to be desired.
I personally would not even want to again because it has become an order of the day the ruling government to corrupt the electral system which they are saying they trying to fight.
We saw a reduction of prices in various commodities just because someone wanted to win an election but three months might not even pass they will increase the prices of the commodities.
Coming to the swearing in ceremony it done in hurry because the government is scared of their own deeds its just matter of time.
The ZAMBIAN GOVERNMENT SUCKS BIG TIME.
I would like to congratulate all Zambians 4 deciding to conduct their election peacefully. Though there might be some irregularities here an there thats normal. When we compare that to Kenya's it was wow! Kudoz Zambians!!!
