The US should help initiate multilateral military action against rebels in the Democratic Republic of Congo if a UN force fails to stabilise areas now rocked by turmoil, an influential US-based think tank said last week.

The UN, The US, the EU and AU, mast focus on resolving the root of all problems and ensure freedom and security of all rwandophone in the region in particular that of Batutsi as they the most hunted and killed by Kabila's governement and his allies. No army will defeat CNDP unless this issues are properly addressed.
This guy claude_rutsinzi thinks that these Batutsi are so almighty and he seems to believe that they are more important than many other tribes that are currently suffering in the DRC.
claude_rutsinzi you can believe in guns and you guys have proven that you like blood. You know what? He who kills with sword shall die by it. SOONER or LATER, you will be in trouble but at least you have Rwanda to run into.
The US is part of what is going on down in DRC otherwise they would have been the first to urge for a concrete military line of action against the Nkunda led rebellion that has let the civilians in dire situation. Infact you should know that the governments of Uganda and Rwanda are US puppets that are being used to destabilize eastern Congo so that they plunder the resources the DRC has in abundance. Recall a BBC report about the plunder of minerals by UN peace keepers that the UN investigated and found out that it was being done by the peace keepers themselves but up to this moment no step as been taken to bring the culprits to book. All this investigations were all covered up and the commanders involved transferred. Infact Africa should not rely on the US and UN missions to solve their problems I would instead recommend that the logistics be given to the African Union to carry out the task. Infact let them first clean their mess in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine and Lebanon.

Is it correct that Mugga's sent some of his boys over to Kabila's place to practice up on a little lootin' shootin',and rootin'????
The U.S have been aware of the situation in the Congop for many years. The Clinton administration was a staunch ally of Rwanda and it did ignore what was going on in the Congo in order to show empathy for the Rwanda's genocide. It is hard to see how the Americans can fight the rebels to whom they give logistical and intelligence support through Rwanda and Uganda. An EU force can make a huge difference on the ground.
