Last week, media practitioners gathered in Lagos, to examine ways of using the journalism profession, as a viable tool to build a virile Nigerian nation. The media gurus observed that strict adherence to ethics and rules of the journalism profession would give necessary political direction and checkmate the abuses of the system by political leaders.
