Excuses, excuses. Similar to the same old excuse - "the goat eats my homework." Who cares where Farouk is from - he could be from the South-south, for all I care. This is not a smear issue. This is an issue of immorality and un-ethical behavior. Can one imagine how many hospitals and primary schools that could be built with princely amount of almost 7 Billion Naira these Rogues allocated for their own personal comfort? In a country where primary school kids are carrying their own desks and chairs on their heads to/from school every day and in a country that practically has no health centers for the poor, how can their representatives allocate such a sinful amount to buy a French product that they cannot make in Nigeria, as if assembling is same as inventing and manufacturing? Why don't they just give our entire GDP receipts to the Europeans and let Nigerians eat sand. Having the same corrupt House ethics committee to probe the house un-ethical conduct should be illegal. In the absence of an independent inquiry, we demand the removal of Bankole and his deputy for even contemplating the idea of buying cars for any member of the NASS - a lesser offense for which the previous female Speaker was removed. No double standards.
