Doyin Okupe, a medical doctor by profession, is generally considered a rare breed in many circles. Though many expected he would "marry" his stethoscope and administer drugs to patients in the hospital, Okupe dropped his medical certificate and plunged into the murky waters of Nigeria's politics, ostensibly, to be more relevant to the Nigerian people.
