"Virtue and boldness" yes!
- The feeling that certain influences on the
ground and in heart of man, while giving
comforts (that these days are questionable)
have been a game of moly Earth's inhabitants
stepped forward to chance despite half-
broken table, bent cards and dirty hands
dealing the ruin, I find hard to shake.
Injustice wrings its hands not for crimes
done, but for want of more; for possibility
of our wish coming true, that someone else
will step up this day and that I may not have
to expose my delicate back and front to
evil's anxious maw.
One has to know one is right in cause, has to
search hard for subtleties, pray to whatever
instant of creation one can manage and then think on it some more.
It is hard lesson, another, different kind of
chance; but if the heart is pure - 'wanting
for one's self what one gives to others' -
one can rarely go wrong, I think.
