Congolese people are not surprised by the British Minister's comments. They are well aware of the international plot to dismantle their rich and beautiful country, strategically positioned at the centre of Africa. Attempts to depopulate the Congo and to break it into pieces have been made since the 19th Century, but nothing has succeeded in putting down the fire of love and nationalism that burn inside each and every Congolese. This is a resilient and proud people as the world has just found out, who will continue to die for their country. What is happening in the Congo brings shame on the entire continent of Africa. Congo will rise again as prophesized by Lumumba, and one day it will write its own history and not the one written in Kigali, in Kampala, in London, and in Washington. God bless the Congo!
