Greetings in the Light and Sound of God. It is very sad to see what is happening to our dear motherland. Nigeria is a wonderful place that is blessed on thie earth. However, Nigerians failed to realize how blessed we are. What is so difficult for all of us to realize that we are all created by God. You can call God whatever you want, Allah, Yaweh, Jah, Chineke, Abasi, Sugmad or however it pleases you; it does not change what God is - the creator of all and we the creation. God's love is not limited to Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buhdists, Eckists or any group that you belong to. Why can't we respect each other and value each other as all souls. Pointing fingers and blaming each other will not solve our problems. Trying to find out who is wrong or right will never cause the violence to stop. There is none of us so right that no wrong could be found in us, and none of us so wrong that no right could be found in us. Therefore, we must learn to accept each other's short comings and accord one another the freedom and respect that we all want for ourselve. Remember the Golden rule, which by the way, is found in all religions that exist on this universe: "Do unto others as you will like them do unto you" May the blessings be.
hello folks, what a mess...this is thus a proof of lack of concept. which common nigerian has got an idea of democracy? who knows his or her rights.
movement can only come to success where people have ideals and visions, but our people can not be blamed...cause they don`t know better...
What a shame and pity that Nigeria who claims to be the giant of Africa cannot orgonize a fair election. When the United States predicted that in the very near future Nigeria will break up, many were skeptical. But the truth is that it is very likely to happen judging by the way politicians are doing things-- rigging of elections and other forms of corruption, and how they are protected from prossecution by those in authority.
This situation in Jos will be nothing compared with what will surely happen if Nigeria politicians refuse to do things right. The painful thing though is that the innocent continue to be the victims. I could have been very happy if the victims of this type of crises are the politicians and members of their family. Nigeria is ripe for a revolution, and how I wish it is already happening.
Giant of Africa or paper giant of Africa? It is always the north.Religiosity, illiteracy, suspicion of anything southern etc, etc.
THIS IS A TESTING OF ARMS. PLEASE LET NO ONE BE WORRIED. IN THE NEXT ELECTION LET PDP WIN IT AGAIN. THEN WE ALL IN NIGERIA WE SE WHAT IS WAR. UNCOMPARABLE. ANYONE CAN IGNORE THIS OR DELATE IT, I DONT CARE.
WAR WILL BE WHENEVER WE HAVE THAT NONSENCE ELECTION AGAIN IN THIS COUNTRY. NO ONE IF FOOL AGAIN. WE ARE ALL EYE OPENNED NOW AT YOU PDP LISTS.
GOD SAVE NIGERIA.
We must face the fact and stop fooling ourselves. Nigeria is not and can never be one nation. It's high time we understood this. There are at least three nations in this country. WE MUST BREAK UP QUICKLY!
weather we like it or not, god made us to leave to gether, so is time to understand the nuture of this world, we are not here for ever, oneday we will all die!!! defentily this world will come to and end!! so why are we killing our self becouse of metrial world.... please and please lets be our brothers keepers.
Fellow Nigerians I think that this is time we all unite as one nation without any tribal or religious hatred.Yes I think is time we seek God whole heartedly in each election that will be conducted and stop taking brib from a contesting candidates.
It is sad that at this age and time we are held to insane thoughts that the premises of religion holds the key to our political and economic freedom. The greedy leaders that have wrecked our economies are free of destruction that the common man that builds the society suffers. As a former resident of Jos, I am shocked that such as beautiful place has been torn into ground of havoc. We as people need to move forward not kill forward.

what bugs my mind is that with all this happening, we hardly hear the voice of a muslim leader calling for 'calm' or 'peace.' do these leaders really exist? a stark similarity to muslim fundamentalism and terrorism elsewhere around the world!
The current Nigerian religious violent rest in the hands of those who created diversity from day One of Nigerian independence. The far Northern region thinks that Nigeria true and true belongs to them alone. Let's every Nigerian think again or think very fast while the Ibos went to war,and that war has nothing to do with oil. But for every Nigerian to realised that we are not ONE and will never be. The ibos should have been left alone to create their own destiny. And that opportunity could have been the best solution for the Middlebelt, South, East and West to governed their region. Where are those who supported the cause of ONE Nigeria to stand. Oh! yes, at 48 yrs of independence we have never found a common clue or solution to Nigerian problems. Thank God, Nigeria we held thee.
This Day (Lagos)
30 November 2008
The Plateau State Government has ordered security operatives comprising men of the Nigerian Army, Air Force, and Mobile Police to 'shoot on sight' anybody fomenting crisis or defying the curfew order imposed on the state capital, Jos. The order was the government's latest response to end the riot in Jos, which death toll, as at yesterday evening, had risen to 350.

Olowo is right and has a strong message he is conveying......Now the western media has given little or no attention to the tragedy in Jos but has focused on Bombay(Mambai) India the situations are similar in that innocent masses of people were murdered and lost of property occurred in an evil and sinister fashion. There is an encripted message in that.Nigeria is beginning to look like another of Africas Failed States. All along I have felt that Africans are Genetically Engineered and pre programmed to self destruct. Olowo was correct about Jos several years I visited Jos a cool, quiet harmonous town with a slow pace and clean..
