The 35th Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) ended in the Nigerian capital Abuja Friday with the election of President Alhaji Umar Musa Yar'Adua as Chairman of the Authority of Heads of State and Government for 2009.
