MDC-T leader Mr Morgan Tsvangirai's reluctance to respond to an invitation from President Mugabe to come for swearing in as Prime Minister has fuelled speculation that he makes decisions on instruction from his Western handlers.

I have yet to meet a stupid person. Only ideas can be described by that term.
Well I guess this means there are a lot of people on this site, shallowhead, takunya, ak47 that have a LOT of very very stupid ideas then.
I must be getting soft in the head. I've been reading Herald articles. That's like reading Pravda to get accurate world news. That "western handlers" comment is right out of the Pyongyang propaganda handbook.
Anyway, may I wish Zimbabwe a Happy New Year with the hope the three plagues that ravage the country are eliminated; AIDS, Cholera and Robert Mugabe.
Tsvangirai has never been himself. He has always been used even from the early stages of MDC. You remember the guy receiving cheques from white farmers grinning. That picture cant come off my head.
Its a shame that Mugabe is facing challenge from someone who is not a true Zimbabwean patriot.Someone he can toss around within legal frame work.Its a pity Zimbabwean civilians keep suffering partly because of this puppet which keeps flip flopping.He gains ground from suffering Zimbabweans under sanctions he gave birth to. We have suffered enough Tsvangirai 's presence has failed to bring relevance to ordinary Zimbabweans.

Better a none true Zimabwean surrounded by a group of experts and normal people than a true ageing Zimbabwean surrounded by a team of medical doctors and a bunch of insane looters to feed their selfish interests. Without the support of Police and Armed forces Mugabe cannot weather the challenges to Tsvangirai's level, he could be in Malaysian by now.

lindie, you say that Tsvangirai gave birth to the sanctions? What nonsense. Tsvangirai has no influence over western foreign policy, and to say otherwise shows you're a few sandwiches short of a picnic.
Lindie is partially correct - you only need to read the Zimbabwe Democracy Act to see how the opposition influenced the sanctions. Obviously the ruling elite is also responsible for the sanctions because of their economic mismanagement and abuse of human rights. The mistake most of the commentators make is to fail to recognise the culpability of both the ruling and opposition parties for the mess in our country today.
Was giving Morgan a Passport bribery for him accept being sworn in by Mugabe? This article is childish it can only make sense to stupid people.
