There shouldn't have been any war between LRA and UPDF to begin with.

The number one duty of the president is to unify the nation. And then protect its citizens and their property.

This is how Musevenis narrative runs: he fought and defeated Amin, Obote, and the Okellos who had better equiped armies.

But when he got to power some how he couldn't defeat Kony's mere rag tag militia to the extent that Kony could murder, rape and pillage the northern populations ?

Where was the mighty UPDF force when Kony committed all these atrocities with impunity ? Why all of a sudden Museveni couldn't defeat Kony ?

No doubt, it is because Museveni doesn't care about what happens to northern populations. It is called wilful negligence.

Politically it gives him talking points to keep harping on the 'evil' northern populations who deserve to be annihilated by their own son.

All this while his clansmen who run the UPDF are busy cashing taxpayer underwritten cheques staying in expensive hotels fighting - with ghost soldiers - the dumbest war in Uganda's history.

Internationalising the war to DRC is a pretext to go back to loot Congo timber and mineral wealth once more again.

Kony, is a monster! Plain and simple. He has destroyed generations with his evil. Yes he should pay with his life. Yes his rag tag milita were a legion of demons. I hope he is shot on sight. What was he fighting for really? How can a grown man rape, murder, mutilate and use children to do his dirty work. He is not a real man. This so-called war aganist him is not stupid but long overdue. Kony should not be able to make any kind of a deal with anyone.Instead of you talking about the evil he has done to the people of Uganda you critize the government for having a stupid war, shame on you where is your humanity? Did not the pain of those children who were stolen from there families effect you in anyway? The raping of women and children is horrible. Just two weeks ago Kony and his band of fools raped eighty women two weeks ago. That was a horrible situation espcially when Kony was supposed to sign a peace treaty previous to that time. I am glad he is on the run and I pray GOD he is found soon. I have been praying for this day for a long time and I am not from Uganda! Thank GOD for answered prayers. May death come to Kony soon!

We don't need any of these rebel groups: LRA,FDLR,CNDP,etc.... They should go back where they belong and take anarchy to their home countries.
