When the rainy season ends in Cape Verde hundreds of families tap into another source of water: fog. Farmers track fog as their ancestors followed rain clouds, monitoring 15 double-sided nets that rise into the mountains.

To harvest fog for water is a proofed technique, specially used in Chile (South America). Cape Verde technicans should contact Chile water experts to improove their water harvest. In hot, very dry northern Chile - water out of fog/mist is the only water source!!!
