This is NEO REBORN! You know i have been expecting Elecam to be an observatory body of its own but Biya is all over it again. Why will Biya need Dorothy, Fonkam and sani Tanimou to be electoral observants. These people are all in the "Biya Camp" It is suppose to be like the Jury sytem in the USA where every Juror is neutral and knows nobody. It think Biya's selection clearly wins him the 2011 election. Let us be real, Cameroon will only be a country when Biya steps down.Let God help us.
I personally think that there is no reason to cry foul before the start of a match! If the accademic baggages of those appointed to this delicate mission is anything to go by,then i can trust them, let us give them the chance and the benefit of doubt to serve their fatherland just like you or i could do if we were given the chance! I also look at it as a chance for Biya to show the world ,that there are people in his camp whom we can trust, who are beyond partisan politics when it comes to national interest.None of these learned ladies and gentlemen ignores the boomerang effects of any elctoral fraud in Cameroon especially as we all expect Biya to quit peacefully! I will challenge any body to name any Cameroonian whom if Biya had appointed, would have been unanimously accepted by both camps and by all Cameroonians;do not forget that the Cpdm too wants to leave a legacy as the party which brought an independent electoral body in Cameroon and i think that was the more reason why Biya refused to use any name suggested by any party or individual for this body but the one he and his party wanted(unique in it's gendre). As the president in office,it is incumbent on him to organise the political landscape of his country in a way as to satisfy the aspirations of the people! Our president is not a supernatural being,as such he has to think of Cameroon after him, examples arround Africa are speaking louder every day. With the multiplicity of our ethnic groups, the risk is enormous if we dare again to gamble with elections! The recent uprisings in Cameroon should serve as a litmus test to the level at which the people are expecting change in Cameroon!
YES!!! here we go again; political folly! this is nothing but a real disgrace in the politics of africa. once more paul biya has pricked the heart of the citizens and still they are letting him go. the elecam members he has chosen all answer: 'yes sir' to him. this idiot of a president is technically declaring himself winner of the 2011 elections and if you think there is any independence in elecam, think twice or send me your questions and i will answer them. we have been pushed to the wall, we cannot wait anymore!
