The Sudanese government wants the United Nations Security Council to delay by a year any decision by the International Criminal Court to issue a warrant for the arrest of President Omar al-Bashir on war crimes charges relating to the war in Darfur, the country's foreign minister, Dr. Deng Alor Kuol, told a news conference in Pretoria on February 20.
