I believe Africa doesnt necessarily need to get on the President Obama agenda but on Gods agenda for their continent. His is found in the Authorized King James Holy Bible of 1611. His preserved word for all English speaking peoples as well other accurate translations for other nations. In America Mr.Obama is not totally for freedom of speech or religion such as in the supposed fairness or collectiveism debates. But true liberty is found in the truth of Gods word, the truth shall set you free,The LORD Jesus Christ. He also said I am the way,the truth and the life;no man cometh unto the father, but by me.Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.(Acts16:31).Read also John3 and Romans10.

This article keeps silent over the gamble by Mugabe that Obama could never be elected US President. Developments unfurling thereafter made Mugabe capitulate to reality that Obama in the White House would send him to the ICC unless he forged a GNU!

It is not Mugabe's patriotism; it is rather his devillish instinct of survival that brought about the GNU with the Damocles dagger of Obama hanging over Mugabe's head.

Getting rid of dictator Mugabe and his corrupt cronies will definitely be one of the priorities of Obama's administration. It will thus be a strong signal to African politicians in general to ensure rule of law and transparency in government. Otherwise, the tap will be closed. And the US administration will chose to work with NGOs to reach commoners and privilege the funding of micro projects.

Those who will still cling to the brutalisation of their citizens just to keep power at all costs will meet the same fate reserved to El-Bashir - going straight to the ICC.

Mugabe is caught with his pant down with Obama in the White House! It is being alleged that he is already negotiating with the Chinese for privileged political asylum for himself and some dozens of his cronies. The Chinese are more attracted by the few billions of US$ that Mugabe is promising to deposit in Chinese banks! All illegally acquired.

There are rumours as well that Mugabe has given a firm promise to the US administration that he will retire from politics following fresh elections - something that the US administration is taking with a pinch of salt!

In any case, Mugabe can only lick the boots of the SA government, the go-between, to save himself from the rash of the Black causus over the continued suffering of Zimbos!

Of course Africa should be on Obama's agenda. First of all, God has a very poor track record in Africa. So much so, that Sudan alone proves that there is not an all powerful and all good supreme being. And that is to say nothing of 200 years of exploitation and gross atrocities in the Congo.

To get back to Obama, when we screw over countries as badly as we have such as Somalia, we owe it to them to try to fix the mess. Not to mention the fact that we import so much of our raw resources from Africa. We get copper from Zambia, bauxite from Ghana, and of course, child slavery produced chocolate from the Ivory Coast. How in the world can we not have an Africa policy?

I am pleased to see celebrities bringing attention to the situation in Darfur. When the world aligns that something needs to be done regarding a deplorable situation, that's when things start to change. What gets the world to align is someone(s) being willing to bring it to public attention and intention. Thank you Kristof and Clooney!
