"Diamonds are not forever". After decades of legal/ illegal exploitation of mineral resources, especially diamonds, in Sierra Leone, the custodians of these resources have been the most exploited and neglected citizens in modern times. Since Independence, governments in Sierra Leone failed to implement issues addressing the welfare of the custodians of these mineral resources. The right and power to control, administer and relocate mining territories have never been allocated to the local authorities. Political "onnectocracy"has always been the tone of the day. In German, it is called VITAMIN "B".With all the good turn-outs in diamond sales and export taxes, the people of Sierra Leone are still considered one of the poorest on this planet.Only good governance and accountability coupled with a free- corruption principle could help save Sierra Leone from the hands of these exploiters whose sole objective is to make money and become richer and richer. There is a total lack of self-determination on the side of the local authorities. Decentralisation is needed here!!! The people of KONO and KENEMA deserve the full right to a better environmental development and a better living standard irrespective of the "CONNECTOCRACY" that looms in lobbyist`s circles. Time alone will tell when all the diamonds are no where to be found only to discover that blasted undergrounds serve as the final "volcanic erruption" swallowing up the entire affected areas.

Under THE SOUPIST STRUCTURE that regulates politics in the soupist occupied territory of Sierra Leone, "decentralization" will happen when it snows in hell.
