The recent bill proposed by President Umaru Yar'Adua to the Senate, seeking to make a law that would curb discrimination against people living with Human Immuno Deficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) in the country when passed into law would help check the spread of the virus as well as encourage infected persons to act with dignity in the face of adversity.
