Sir, I read with a great deal of interest the comments by Senator Muhammed Adamu Aleiro after his latest visit to the water project at the lower Usuma dam. The Senator is to be commended for threatening to sanction Biwater international for the long, long delay in fulfilling their obligations to the people of the region. Well done Senator for the concern shown by you and it's so very heartening that the Senator 'dropped in' unexpectedly. This company,Biwater, should be put off the site and the remainder of the contract awarded to a more competent company who will not be concerned with delaying the project, even longer, over variations and who will have onboard a much more competemt management.
