The approach of the Nigerian Govt towards this Niger Delta Imbrogilo is phony at best. First, Nigeria is not fighting against an organized Unit of fighters. This is unlike the one led that was led by one Odumegwu Ojukwu whose case seemed like a fight for justice for his people but lost his fight due mainly to the lack of support from the minority tribes within the war-theatre. Ojukwu misunderstood the fact that the minorities were themselves looking for freedom from him, despite the deep family ties that existed between the various groups in the region. Yaradua, however, does not have the luxury of facing an identifiable enemy. He is rather, facing an array of highly disorganized people whose strength lies on the fact that are fighting a "just war". If you conquer one group, the remainnder simply regruoups and fights on. I, personally donot know of any Ijaw man worth his name that will not like to fight this type of war. Count me as one person who can help the Niger Delta cause in many capaciies, including, but not limited to fighting from "the air". Unless and until Nigerians collectively treat my people fairly, all you can achieve is a "patch job". Who is giving who an amnesty? Who needs an amnesty? The feds whose people have been overthrowing each other in turns so as to steal our oil wealth and deposit in the World bank? Who is the thief? Who? Why not go after those rag tag generals who illegally took over leadership so as to rob our country of it's wealth? Some of these shame less "Barawos" are still frolicking around the Country instead of hiding themselves themseves in utter shame.
