Tuesday's signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for Peace and Reconciliation in Cabinda marks the end of 45 years of violence afflicting this Angolan province, the richest in the country because of its oil, gold, diamonds, phosphate, uranium, potassium and exotic woods.

This is yet another important report that supports FLEC's case against Angola. Neo colonialism can never be tolerated. In 2006 FLEC lodged an urgent appeal with the African Commission on Human & Peoples Rights in Banjul and is still awaiting Angola's answer. Sic semper tyrannis!
