West African leaders Monday held talks with Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero aimed at boosting ties with the European country which has become a key destination for illegal migrants. Zapatero said Spain placed "great importance on the meeting which marked a historic landmark in our relations."
