Criminal Mugabe has got a double-split personality since the advent of the GNU.

He knows that the GNU is saving him from being dragged to the ICC. He is also suspicious that the GNU is rather helping the MDC-T gain the limelight in the public opinion in those regions that the CIO had so efffectively excluded his party.

Bloodstained Mugabe is no more a patriot. he is now trying to save his own skin at the expense of the higher interest of the nation.

Who said tyrant Mugabe was not selfish? A hero? My foot !!!!

Prem, I do agree with you that Mugabe can not see any higher goals for the country that does not involve him. The limelight that MDC-T is getting bothers Mugabe and his cronies a great deal. Even after Prime Minister Tsvangirai brought Zimbabwe so much foreign aid and humanitarian aid to the starving Zimbabweans, Mugabe remains aloof. Without GNU Zimbabwe would continue to go down. All parties in GNU need to step up for “higher national interest “ goals, but especially Mugabe and his cronies.

I am sure that nobody that follows Zim politics is the slightest bit suprised that Mugabe wants to follow the Kariba draft. This draft gives the President dictatorial powers - just the thing for Mugabe who has been exerting such powers without serious internal challenge until very recently - and look what a hash of Zim he has made of it!!! As for letting the "common" citizens of Zim have real input into the constitution making process - thats something that makes Mugabe shiver in his boots.

It would be nice to work together but one problem, ZanuPooF doesn't want to. All they re interested in is filling their own bank accounts. Who knows this Kariba draft might get Nyaminyami very cross and destroy it with a breach of the wall.

Did any hear that two muslims in a power boat crashed into the Kariba dam wall? The ZRP think it's the start of Ram-a-dam.
