It is three years since the then 12-year-old Aisha Nabukeera was severely burnt by her stepmother in Masaka. Prospects of her furthering her education appeared bleak at the time. But the little girl, who was a Primary Six pupil at the time of the tragedy, has bounced back strong and determined.
