As part of events to commemorate the 15th liberation anniversary of the country, President Paul Kagame conferred upon foreign leaders medals for their support to Rwanda during the liberation struggle. One was the Prime Minister of Ethiopia:

Thanks for this story. I hadn't known how Ethiopia helped Rwanda during the 1990s. It's truly wonderful to hear stories about the various African countries coming together in brotherhood/sisterhood and peace.
