WITH the closure of public universities due to ongoing nationwide, indefinite strike by lecturers, followed by the non-academic, administrative staff now in the third week, accusing fingers are pointed at Federal Government for being insincere and insensitive to the tragic situation in the sector.

Am a student of ambrose alli university, ekpoma, 200L of mechanical engr. The government. are not caring about nigerian student and they have forgot that they have passed through the phase we are taking now. The demands of the ASUU are not beyond what the federal government can't solve, all they know is where 2 elephant fought is the grasses that suffer. I use this opportunity to beg the president and all government of nigeria to please call the asuu to a round table and discuss the easiest way to stop the rolling ball. For we student we have no choice, all we can do is to appeal to the two parties to please come to our rescue.
