A US-based Liberia Human Rights Campaign (LHRC) has revealed that since the Liberian Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC), made public their report, members of the Commission are receiving fearful threats on their lives, as a result, most of the TRC Members left their homes and are in hiding.

Fourteen years of war, thousands upon thousands lives loss and millions in damaged. All they want us to do is to be quiet and pretend as if nothing happens. Those threatening phone callers must be out of their minds, to think that by placing a called we will back off. This particular generation is prepared and determined to confront anyone or government that stands in the way of democracy. Such an intimedations are not shoucking at all. That's the 19th century mind playing games they used to. We will not sit back and allow these idiots to take what belong to us. We will not accept to be prisoners in our own country and a refugees in another country(ies). Again, we were children in exile, now we are men and women back at home. We have experienced lot of atrocities in and out of our mother land. We are grown and ready to protect our country and people. Threatening calls will not deters this commission(TRC) from performing the objectives for which its was instituted. May God bless the people of Liberia. TAVACANO,California
