United States President Barack Obama has again used the Kenyan example to impress upon the African leadership on the need for policy change.

Obamas visit to Africa is a significant historical event. He is half African, president of US and the most powerful man in the world. His achievements in Africa would not be as revolutionary as what he symbolises. He will make history. He has achieved more that any serious man could dream. He is on the top of the world but Africa wouldn’t.
Most Africans are delusional about how the relationship of Africa and Europe is and should be. Africans thinks shell or total or Anglo should voluntarily pay tax on moral ground, Europe should share their wealth with them and Europe should not exploit Africa or have an advantage over it on trade.
Perhaps they have not hard about competitive relationship between business and states and countries over countries. That what business do. They want to pay lower taxes and exploit workers. If one doesn’t understand that one most be delusional and Obama cannot do noting about it. If shell or Anglo comes to Africa and bribe Africans and exploit them who is stupid fool.
Why do you think slavery took place in Africa and not Asia or South America because African sold Africans to Europeans for the price of nothing but sugar. If Africans don’t want Europeans to mine their resources let them do it for them self but you know what they can’t do it. Their leaders don’t have the vision and creativity to do it.
If Africa wants to develop it has to compete and not ask for anything base on social or humanitarian grounds. For example if they want free trade they can set a free trade zone in Africa. Hyper increase tax on European good and make a deal with the likes of china and India to reduce their taxes to make sure food prices don’t rise. With in six months Europe will allow African good in Europe. Africa should be competing not begging or blaming Europe for their problems.

Seriously, let's take this Obama dude apart, now: "governance" ranges over institutional structures. Moreover, there are many institutional structures in a society. For example, the family, the church, the mosque, the market place and others are "institutional structures." All of them are under the predicate of "governance."
So, what is the President of the USA talking about? The family? In this particular case, I don't think we want to go there, do we? The economnic institutional structure? Here too, we need to tiptoe, for the USA is a positive impediment, along with its European and African clients---exclusively 'governments,'--- to the robust development of the resources of Africa. The talk of "partnership" is a lie. Only equals partner.
Notice that Mr. Obama uncritically presupposed that the democratic regimentation of social power cannot be questioned or critiqued. The Pope certainly wouldn't buy that, and anti-colonial Africans shouldn't either. Accordingly, it is only pure ideological fervor that would prompt the deployment of an uncritiqued structure---"good governance'---as a solution to Africa's woes.
Obama dare not tell the Chinese or the Russians about "good governance," for they would laugh in his face. And why? Because neither the Chinese nor the Russians need a dime from broke USA.
Accordingly, to twist the words of the sometimes wise, but mostly stupid Nkruma: Seek ye the Economic Kingdom first.
To a certain extent, the obscurantist Nkrumah is responsible for the political intoxication in Africa. This silly philosopher turned politician who wouldn't know how to make a buck in the market place misdirected the whole trajectory of African development with his claptrap of the "political kingdom," which he quickly, ignorant of the rules of power politics, converted into a dictatorship, fully clothed in the obscurantist rhetoric of scientific socialism or some other conceptual sewer.
In case you are wondering, the whole world has condemned the USA for economic BAD GOVERNANCE.
And, the silly Ghanain politicos sat in their "parliament," their "talking shop"---old men old enough to be Mr. Obama's father---listening to a juvenile deliver a sermon on "good governance."
Ghana then is the disgrace of Africa.
PS. There was no town hall meeting in Accra, for good reason: one does not dialogue with Africans, for like babes, they need a good sermon, a good monologue on the alleged benefits of Yankee "good governance." Well, if that concept of "good governance" hails from Chicago, I say, cover your white yams.
