I simply wish to offer a special word of gratitude and appreciation to Ocherome particularly for this reflection on Nigeria: The Amnesty Jackpot. And that is because I am thinking of the role that oil is playing in the economic and politicla life of the nation at present. It is incisive, it is healthy and it is instructive. I do hope also that our political power players will do more to take the needs and feelings of the people as expressed in some of our well meaning editorials into account as they formulate policies and make key decisions. We can actually work towards a win-win goal.
