to no one's surprise the MDC is finding it difficult indeed to sleep in the same bed with a murderous dictator.

Zuma and SA do not really care about Zimbabweans. As leading nation in the SAD Committee one would expect SA would take a tougher stand on Mugabe, since it was SA with the toothless SADC that sort of pushed the MDC in this GNU and Mugabe's signature shows to be zero. Biti was right that it was not wise to sign any agreement before all the outstanding issues were solved. After sighning we did not hear from SA anymore.SA is only interested in a quiet situation in Zimbabwe cause the worldcup is coming to SA.SA doesn't want any revolution at it's threshold and in the meantime SA has cheap labour from Zim and for SA workers it's more difficult to ask a payrise.Instead of bellydancing around in his leopard bikini, Zuma, showing he is a sheep in leopard's clothes,'d better puts more pressure on Mugabe. If he doesn't ,he really risks a lot of trouble during the worldcup and who would be to blame for it?For sure he would point to Mbeki. In expressing his concerns about what could happen during the worldcup he also showed Zimbabweans what is SA's achillesheel and Zimbo's could take advantage of that.By putting more pressure on Zuma to deal with the outstanding issues or if nothing is solved again ultimately they could come to the choice for a much needed change during the woldcup: Now or Never.People in general better avoid SA and the worldcup.

south africa cares - because they too will have to get their land back. It is going to happen. The question you should ask tsva and his friends. Does it not hurt HIM and THEM to see black south africans living in dustball bantustans and shacks - Why is it okay for whites to own LAND and not blacks.

Mehl....dont confuse issues here please buddy. I really dont give a monkey's behind who owns the land...as long as that very same person farms it for the benefit of the nation as a whole..not retain it as some sort of trophy to parade to visiting relatives in an attempt to flaunt one's wealth!! There is enough fertile land in zimbabwe..south africa..why dont the black folk settle on that land and prove to the white man they can be as good as him at farming. Surely the black govts will wish to see them succeed and could advance them fabourable loan terms. The proof that there is spare land available is evident in the fact that Mozambique and Zambia have been routinely doling out fertile land to ex zimbabwean white farmers who were forced off their farms!! Sheer politics of envy and nothing else if you ask me!!

Rmkooistra . . . do you you are making threats to SouthAfrica re: world cup games. ..thats the height of disrespect for all people of Africa. I say go to hell with your world cup and the MDC-T. Biti has no balls to pull out of the unity gvt and be his own man. Biti thinks that he can eat his cake and have have it. Declare the war, stand your ground and meet head-on the consequences. Let Biti show us his balls.

A-cup thanks very much for supporting me on the soccermatter cause you say the worldcup in SA can go to hell.Although your statements are a bit rougher than mine it's clear we're looking for the same endresult and that is no worldcup in SA.About your desire to see Mr Biti's balls however I must disappoint you.I can't help you with that.I always wondered if Zanu-guys like you are straight and thanks to you I have finally the answer now.If you really want to see Mr Biti's balls I suggest you contact him.Try your luck.It could be the case however he prefers women and no A-cups anyway.I'm sure you can arrange some sort of alternative in Zanurank's facilities that fits your desires. So with you around in Southern Africa people are guaranteed at least a sucker if soccer is not going to take place in SA.

Akapfunde, Tendai Biti is too decent a man to show you his "balls." If you long to see a pair why not look at your own or do YOU not have any? Actually the way you snivel at Mugabe's side shows you aint got none.

@rmkooistra. I cant believe you Zimbos are making threats against SA. Why arent you lot making those rubbish statements at Mugabe. He is a Zimbabwean afterall and not a South African. Why must you be such wimps who blame everyone for their troubles ecxept yourselves? Did SA vote for Mugabe? Who are those people we see packed in stadiums cheering Mugabe? What about the poor citizens of SA? Must we drop every thing and run around just cause some of you narrow minded hypocrites cant solve your own problems in your own country?. you are probably one of those ungratefull Zimbos who leave in SA. You must remember Zimbabwe gets a lot of resources from SA, e.g electricity, food stuffs and manier things all the while we are baby feeding + 5 million of your "asylum seekers" brothers and sisters. When will you get the picture? The power to change Zimbabwe the most lies with the Zimbos more than any one including President Zuma. Blackmailing SA wont help. You must remember SA has poverty too. People like Steve Bantu Biko were not arrested while he was in exile, he was here with the people even though his life was in danger. Thats the mentality you lot need to adapt and stop this Grand standing at the expense of SA it makes you look like ungratefull buffoons. Your empty pride exposes you, the wolrd cup will be in SA LIKE IT OR NOT! you also can't disrupt the event because heavy security measures will be taken besides its not only SA that will benefit, common sense would have alured you to such

Bhslick, what a great and deserved telling off to those Zimbabweans who are constantly blaming everyone else for their own damages and making their own country the crap that it has become. Rmkooistra and several of us are not blaming south Africa per se but are just frustrated that ever since the unity sharing deal was going nowhere, South Africa had it within its power to broker it, first through Mbeki and then through Zuma. Both men as SADC chair persons were given that mandate and responsibility. Both did nothing, instead just held hands with Mugabe, encouraging him to continue his arrogance towards MDC, disregard to the changes called for by the power sharing signed deal and total disregard for the well being of the Zimbabwean people. So far, and in that regard, South Africa has been a source of great disappointment for those Zimbabweans and others who really want to see the people lead normal lives. The brokering of this impasse would have been beneficial to South Africa greatly by relieving it of the millions of Zimbabwean refugees.

@kjrs and rmkooistra. .oh please!! Is that the best you can come up with?. First you say you dont blame SA and then you go and create a scenario where SA is the be all and end all of the situation in ZIm. then you try to blackmail us again! with scenarios of ZIMBOS going back home based on SA brokering a deal.. Thats rubbish. You lot are here because you ran away from the monster you created. How come you never mention yourselves? you did not even bother to answer my questions and yet you are quick to make demands from my country.I told you before and i will tell you again -the power to change Zim lies in your hands the most.Stop being such cowards and take the revolution unto your hands.. MBEKi(the man you lot like to mud sling)did broker a deal in a form of a unity government. But you ZIMBOS cant somehow move past that and now you go running to SA with you tails in between your legs. who were those dumb nuts booing PM Tsvangirai in UK? what did you do to help with the unity deal apart from leeching on SA with no gratitude? when are we ever going to see you people fighting for your country instead of running away? ZUMA is the president of SA and not that of ZIM.

Bhslick, firstly I would just like to let you know that I neither live in Zimbabwe nor am I Zimbabwean nor African but I do however have a Zimbabwean adopted brother. If you calm down and re read my post perhaps you will see that I share your sentiments and Rmkooistra's as well. I have stressed great disappointment at Mbeki and Zuma as the SADC chairpersons who were especially given the task to direct Zimbabwe into a government of sharing. During the darkest times in Zimbabwe when Mugabe was killing MDC supporters, Mbeki told the world 'there was no crisis" and dragged his feet like what seemed to be forever. Summit after summit, they could have done more to influence Mugabe to do the right thing but instead they poo pooed him encouraging him to remain obstinate about the required changes. As the Zimbabwean people do not want a civil war, there was a lot of hope by MDC supporters and others riding on an expectation of a firm and strong direction to be given to Mugabe as he has been the one most asinine and uncooperative. Expressing the hope of the Zimbabweans returning is not a blackmail, but that it just made good sense for your president to do all in his power not only as a member of SADC but as the president giving those refugees shelter, to relieve your country of that burden by getting the government of Zimbabwe in a position whereby all the refugees can be repatriated but not to their deaths as those who fled to South Africa are not the ones who created the monster Mugabe but are the ones being persecuted by Mugabe for voting for MDC. I sincerely hope that one day you do not find yourself with a ruthless dictator after your blood in your country because where will you run? Having said that I totally agree with you that it is time the brain-washed Mugabe stooges stop blaming everyone else for the cause of destruction of their country. Mugabe is right there in front of them still crapping all over everything including the unity governance.

Funny to be called a Zimbabwean refugee and a Rhodesian white farmer at this forum in one week.. Never been in Rhodesia nor in Zimbabwe. South Africa is indeed playing a nasty role when it comes to Zimbabwe. Imagine a South African camerateam showed the world about the situation inside Zimprisons. The SA government is aware of all the murders, torture, voterigging, abductions, theft etc. But the SA government protected the gansterstate Zimbabwe in the security council as they also did with the gangsterstate of Burma. SA keeps the criminal loser Mugabe in place. Offcourse Zimbabweans did not ask for this stupid GNU brokered by Mbeki. They voted for regimechange. They wanted to get rid of Mugabe, Gono, Tomana, Mutasa and the role of Zanu in the police, politics, army, courts, media, economy, crime etc. SA government should have told Mugabe what Tutu did. Tell him to go. The SA government protects voterigging and all kind of crimes connected to that in Zimbabwe. In doing so they show the world that the one man one vote system they struggled for for such a long time lost most of it's glance already within a decade. Zimbabwean people are indeed victims of SA politicians who keep monster mugabe in place and it's no surprise these types themselves could hardly escape charges.. The bloodsoccer games in SA should not be attended by people who believe in and campaign for freedom.

Well bhslick, there you have it. These are the glaring facts well presented to you by Rmkooistra.

Thanks Kjrs. I would like to add some more. Last week there was a summit in Kampala about refugees. People can find this on the Ugandapage. The Monitor, a newspaper in Uganda, states there are around 17 million refugees worldwide. South africa hosts about 4 - 5 million of them, most of them Zimbabweans. Large numbers of refugees in SA have already, shown by facts, that they are a security risk and a health risk for the state of SA. There were riots with refugees and also SA people died because of imported cholera from Zimbabwe. Now, if anyone is the head of state of a country that hosts such a percentage of the global number of refugees one would expect that such a head of state would go to a meeting in the area where such matters are discussed. Surprisingly we did not see Mr Zuma overthere nor the majority of other SADC member's presidents. Even Mugabe, the main causer of SA's refugeeproblem was there. As usual he was the judge in his own case. Zuma could have asked him some hot questions. Nothing like that. Why was Zuma not there? For sure he send some vice president or minister but for some reason he doesn't seem to take the large number of refugees in SA as a big issue. Why? In doing so he leaves the refugees in the cold as well as the SA population. I come back now to the headline of the article where we reacted on in our posts and it says "Zuma concerned over the country". Really? Or he doesn't have any clue at all, or he is afraid of Robber Mugabe, he has been blackmailed or he has been paid off by Zanu with blooddiamonds or whatever. SA should be carefull it's not going the same direction as Zimbabwe in the long run. Especially as the ANC like ZANU fails to deliver progrees to the people and in the meantime their leaders have champagneparties repeating their longgone liberationslogans leaving poor blacks in the same slums as decades ago. These leaders don't mind if there are 7 or 12 people in a shag. With bread and games 2010 they can't be much of a problem.

Perhaps one should not expect anything much from Zuma whose country is laughing all the way to the bank from the killing on exports to Zimbabwe. Besides who knows, money too could be seeing its way out of South Africa to foreign banks via Zimbabwe. Hey the guy has 5 wives and all need to do some shopping. Doing nothing for Zimbabwe is gratitude in kind to Mugabe.
