Am not so sure whether the homily of Fr Muli was accurately reported on
that newspaper. But I think his discussion on gay marriages, was the right
thing. we tend to shy away from realities. And as a result we just watch
things happening. I think we need sometimes to reflect on what is
happening and what might have gone wrong in the society. I want to
congratulate that priest for setting the stage for us to reflect, and also
request our mothers, that instead of demanding an apology from Fr Muli, why
cant we just reflect and all of us ask ourselves, "what is happening?"
Father only commented on gay marriages, what about lesbianism? Is this one
a result of failure by men to provide what women need in marriges? Let us
reflect first, correct vices in the society and not be quick to say, Father
has to apologise! The debate is open, we need to put up arguments for or
against the opinion.
