Actions like those taken by the present governor of the central Bank and the subsequent response to Nigercem by governor Elechi in Ebonyi state is sign that NIgeria will one day come off the doldrum and functional prison it has been pushed into for the longest time . These gentlemen are answering the call by their nation for help. The action of the Central Bank governor has impressed Nigerians at home and in diaspora, except those who have used the central bank as family bank.
What is needed is structural changes , changes that make way for new inovation , new idea and new ways of doing the nations business. There has been lots of attempts to infuse drastic changes to sturbbornely embedded administrative structure inherrently corrupt and resitant to real change. The reason is because those who design the changes in themselves have no intention to change anything in the first place. They're sinister functionalists who are always ahead of the game as they create new channels that seem new but deadly with the same old result .
This is where Adeniyi's change come superior , it is structural, it has the required potential to remove the block of power and make way for new Central Bank which will be able to stand the new challenge for accountability, civility and developemental objectives . Nigerians are fond of parrading etc, it is about time we look for perfomers than those with worthless academic laurels who come off few years of public servicew with multi-millions dollars that can not be accounted for in terms of their total income over the years they served.
The nation has abondant reservoir of experts who have proven themselves the world over as capable change agents , many have different qualifications from variety of world renowed institutions other than the PHDs , they would like to lend helping hand to retrieve the nation from the clutches of the criminals that prode different sectors of national service. The board of custom , the police force, national security organization , the immigration services and the list goes on, they all need new hands, and new shakeups . These agencies are very archaic in structure , they're run like cults with corruptions the magnitude of which will make you bleed.
With all due respect I think the Commission can work. Nigeria has many of her sons and daughter that can help build the nation. But unfortunately they do go home to participate. When I see the hiring advertisement oversees, I laugh because the target unqualify individual. Yes going back to Nigercem, the commission if allow to do their work, can come up with solution. Please contact me I am a Nigerian in USA I would like to participate in problem solving in many Nigrtian industies. If I can do it in USA, I do not see why I can not help in Nigeria. I am MBA, MS, Manufacture Technology, ISO 9001-200 Certify, Project Manager and I want to help
