The former president general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Dr Ikedife, Honourable Chidi Duru of House of Representatives and Dr Okey Umeano of All Progressive Grand Alliance have reacted to the news report that quoted Ikemba Nnewi, Dim Emeka Ojukwu to have warned against the outbreak of another civil war should Anambra Governor, Peter Obi be excluded from contesting 2010 guber election.

I totally agree with Dr.Ikedife. People should stop chasing rats when their houses are on fire. Ikemba, just like any other true Igbo is skeptical about the future political game in Anambra State. Recent events have shown that the state is the target of Abuja and every machinery has been put in place to achieve this goal. Just like three years and about eight months ago, it will be God's intervention that will save the people from the inpending danger. I feel so diappointed in the comments made by Yakubu Gowon on the issue and would want to use this opportunity to advice him to focu much of his attention on his prayers for the enthronment of democratic principles than flexing his muscles for another war. Ojukwu is not the country's problem. The problems are the so called leaders who have turned themselves into monsters.
