Barely weeks after two of its much-trumpeted social programmes -- "Unga for the Poor" and "Kazi Kwa Vijana" -- flopped, the Kenyan government through Prime Minister Raila Odinga last Wednesday launched yet another initiative in which the rural and urban poor will receive a $20 monthly stipend to supplement their domestic expenditure.

It is time for everyone else to acknowledge what a few people have know since the 1980's-Raila Odinga has no leadership qualities. Watching him swaying from side to side with actually accomplishing anything is sad. Is this the persons really want for a president? Family names should not be automatically traded in for political aspirations without even good leadership skills.
