We Must Involve the Grassroots - Adedeji

There is no evidence of any serious debate on either the African Union or Nepad, even in national parliaments, complains former ECA boss, Adebayo Adedeji. He says both plans "emerged from the highest political level without any serious and sustained effort to consult with stakeholders and key actors."
