BANJUL, Gambia (PANA) — President Joao Bernardo Vieira of Guinea
Bissau and his former army chief of staff, Gen. Ansumane Mane were
scheduled to resume their direct peace talks in Banjul Friday morning
under the chairmanship of President Yahya Jammeh.
Their meeting seeking to end the mutiny which erupted in 7 June broke
up around midnight Thursday at the Kairaba Beach Hotel.
