Djibouti: Exiles On Hunger Strike As Djibouti Heads For Polls

PARIS, France (PANA) — As Djiboutians head for the presidential polls on Friday, a group of political exiles in France and Brussels on a hunger strike since 29 March, have demanded the release of political prisoners in that country.

According to the Djiboutian president of the Committee in Europe for the Defense of Political Prisoners (CODEPP), Mohammed Isse, the strike by the group in France and Brussels will continue until the government of president Hassan Gouled Aptidon releases the 43 political detainees in Djibouti.
