LOME, Togo (PANA) — Guinea Bissau's former army chief of staff, Gen. Ansumane Mane, who was led a mutiny in his country has arrived in Lome for discussions on the peace process in his country. A delegation from the Revolutionary United Front (RUF) in Sierra Leone is also in Lome for talks with its leader Corp. Foday Sankoh.
Mane, accompanied by his wife and a delegation of his rebel group, was received on arrival Thursday by Togolese defence minister Assani Tidjani and senior officers of the Togolese armed forces.
