Maseru — Sports Director Mamotebang Ntokoane says when planning for All Africa Games, South Africa did not want to host taekw-ondo as they claimed not have sufficient facilities for the sport.
Addressing a team of taekwondo athletes who are in camp for the World Taekwondo Championships to be hosted in Canada in June, Ntokoane observed that South Africa did not want to host the games because they were afraid of losing all their medals to Lesotho. She however, noted that the International Taekwondo Federation promised to finance the facilities.
