Seychelles Ratifies ILO Convention On Child Labour

Dakar, Senegal (PANA) — The Republic of Seychelles has become the first country to formally ratify the ILO's international labour standard on the Worst Forms of Child Labour, Convention No.182, which was adopted unanimously by the 174 member states in Geneva in June, the organisation said in its newsletter.

It said the ratification was communicated to the ILO in writing by President France Albert Ren, saying his government would "faithfully perform and carry out all the stipulations" in it.
