Maseru — As a way of improving Lesotho's football international performance, the Mochacho's Chicken Village has organised a tournament for the four soccer teams with a sponsor of M20,000.00.

Thisunique Mochachos soccer challenge will take place at Setsoto stadium where Matlama, Rovers, Bantu and Linare will each battle for their share. This popularly selected giants kick off on October 23-24th.

The teams were selected by Mochacho's Chicken Villages' Manager Thabo Phohleli, who said that he wanted both south region and north region to be represented by these teams in the competition.

Phohleli, said it is the responsibility of both footba-llers and soccer lovers to upgrade the standard of soccer in the country. "With the high standards companies would not hesitate to dig down in their pockets and sponsor football in the country.

"So this is a challenge to the companies to see that something must be done as there is no good standard of soccer in Lesotho this days," he observed. The best team will win M10,000, the 2nd prize M5,000, the 3rd prize M3.000 and the last will go home with M2,000. Mochacho's promised to provide the teams with soccer kits.
