Gone are the days when polo was played just for the fun of it, before a motley crowd of kings, members of their royal families and courts. Thanks to the popularity of the fastest team sport in the world, polo, particularly in Nigeria, has today shaken off the elitism cocoon it was wrapped in over the years, to take its pride of place as one of the biggest sports in the country.
