Lesotho: Police Uncover Scam At Queen II

Maseru — Police fraud squad in Maseru are investigating a case where a ward attendant at the Queen Elizabeth II hospital was found in possession of stolen medical equipment on Friday. The man whose name had not been released at the time of going to press was initially arrested by the same officers for illegally having two work identification cards bearing different occupations.

The first identification card labeled the accused as a ward attendant while the other one identified him as a doctor's assistant. Following his arrest on Thursday, the suspect went to his house with the officers to hand over to them the second identification card. He had come to work with the card identifying him as a doctor's assistant.
