Nairobi — President Moi's government has performed better than the
late Kenyatta's, a Cabinet Minister claimed yesterday. Medical
Services Minister Dr Amukowa Anangwe, said critics of President Moi's
leadership were misguided tribalists out to cause chaos in the
country.
Speaking in Butere town, the minister said: "Those comparing
President Moi's leadership to Kenyatta's are misguided and crusading
for a tribal agenda. There should be no comparison because President
Moi has performed far much better than Kenyatta did when he was in
power."
