FUEL queues persisted in Lagos yesterday as many filling stations
awaited products delivery from depots just as the Petroleum and
Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has given
a 21 days ultimatum to the management of the Department of Petroleum
Resources (DPR) to reach agreement with it on outstanding issues
between the two bodies or face a strike action.
Vanguard investigations at the two depots in Apapa showed that
tankers were actually lifting products in Apapa to various filling
stations in Lagos.
