Congo-Kinshasa: Government Convenes Post-Kabila Crisis Meeting

Kinshsa, DR Congo — The government of the Democratic Republic of Congo was convened for a cabinet meeting at 10 am Wednesday, according to a communiqué signed by the first deputy director of the presidency in charge of legal affairs, Barrister Mbuyu.

The communiqué, which was read on state radio and television, invited "all ministers of state, ministers and vice ministers to the OAU complex." It also called on the population to remain calm and to go about their normal activities.
