Nigeria: Obasanjo Sacks 10 Ministers - Sarumi, Jemibewon, Adeniran, Bunu, Sango, Others Thrown OUt

Lagos — President Olusegun Obasanjo, this morning, dropped ten ministers from the Federal Executive Council, ending speculations about his much reported cabinet reshuffle.

Among ministers dropped by the president are: Chief Dapo Sarumi, Minister of Co-operation and Integration in Africa, Chief Tunde Adeniran, Minister of Education, Alabo Tonye Graham-Douglas, Minister of Culture and Tourism, Alhaji Hassan Adamu, Minister of Agriculture, Mrs. Becky Igwe, Minister of State for Women Affairs, Mr. Damishi Sango, Minister of Sports, Dr. Tim Menakaya, Minister of Health, Architect Ibrahim Bunu, Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Sani Zangon Daura, Minister of Environment and Major General David Jemibewon (retd), Minister of Police Affairs. President Obasanjo, accompained by the Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, this morning had the last breakfast with the outgoing ministers. The breakfast took place at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock.
