Addis Ababa, Ethiopia — Landlocked Ethiopia over the
weekend secured new tariff for the importation of fertiliser and
fuel through the Port of Djibouti, while agreeing to meet tariff
adjustments demanded by the Port authorities for other cargo,
press reports said.
The new arrangement agreed at last week's talks, allows
Ethiopia a flat rate tariff of one-US-dollar per ton for
fertiliser and fuel oil coming into the country through the Port
of Djibouti.
