Gambia: Dancehall Masters And Their 'Masterful Creation'

Banjul, The Gambia — Looking at the duo's casual appearance and approach to a huge money-making profession like music, one will conclude that their debut was the greatest surprise album of Gambian music history. They go on stage like children who do it for fun but right there they measure up in international miles.

"Brotherman" and "If You Wanda Be Somebody" were singles that brought Gambian dancehall closer to congeniality. The two songs instantly became the anthem of the time and successfully led the duo's debut to the frontline.

Now the sophomore is out to take that created path. It's an improved Dancehall Masters in showcase. An eight-tracker born out of Suns of Light's incubating room (Sunland Music Studio), the album entitled "Masterful Creation" features a live remix of "Brotherman". A self-titled leading song ("Dancehall Masters") that opened the 'A' side of the cassette is a travelling stone and no one knows its destination.
