Congo-Kinshasa/Central African Republic: TP Mazembe Beats Angels of Fatima 1-0

Kinshasa, DR Congo — DR Congo's football team, TP Mazembe of Lubumbashi, Monday scored a 1-0 victory over the Central African Republic team of Anges de Fatima (Angels of Fatima) in a first leg of the first round of the African cup winners tourney.

The Congolese goal was scored from a free kick in the 16th minute of a match dominated by TP Mazembe.

The game, which was to have been played Sunday, was postponed because the Central Africans arrived in Lubumbashi the same day.
